EVP AT FORT POINT - ECHOES OF THE PAST?
Completed by 1861, Fort Point sits beneath the Golden Gate Bridge, it's purpose to defend the Bay from an attack that never came. It was built before the Civil War and has housed many soldiers while training and for general use as barracks. Oddly enough, the reports of deaths within the Fort itself were few, but many outside.
